O Rings or Rubber O Rings are the industrial rubber products
which are produced from synthetic rubber called Elastomers. Rubber O Rings are
commonly used in fluid pressure and gas pressure transmission system. O Rings
also used in alternative motion seal and static seal. The section of Rubber
Seal is circular and due to its round section, it is called as O Rings or
Rubber O Rings. In general Standard O Rings
and Non Standard O Rings are produced in a wide selection of elastomers and
elastometric materials. Rubber O Rings and Rubber Gaskets are used in a wide
range of industries such as engineering, aircraft, construction, manufacturing,
mechanical, etc where they act as an intermediate and fill the gap between two
surfaces and depending upon their plan, it can be of varied shape.
There are certain useful properties for O Rings such as Thermal
stability, Low toxicity, Water repelling, Resistivity, Non Stick and Electrical
insulation. Also there are certain rubber o rings made up of neoprene and
silicon for their unique properties. An O Ring is said to be a Gasket, certain
gasket need some compression so they have to undergo a deformation form, for
this specific purpose, we use Rubber O Rings. So each kind of Gasket or O Rings
have versatile function, which is used based on the industry.

O-rings made of Aflas are generally utillized in chemical and high temperature applications. Aflas® material is an elastomeric based flouorubber and propylene."
