Personal Body Armour is undoubtedly a protective wear for
security agents, police officers, security guards, private citizens, body
guards, and military officials. Officials without the usage of body armour who
are responsible for safeguarding the country will be exposed to life
threatening risks. Personal Body armour are generally referred as ballistic
vests, bulletproof vest or bullet resistant vest which absorbs the impact of
fired projectiles and shrapnel from explosions. Initially soft vest body armour
is made with various layers of woven or laminated fibres which help to protect

Most of the security uniforms suppliers offer body
armours for both male and female genders and both are differentiated in design
and size. Maintaining the body armour is more complicated because personal body
armour is given only for dry cleaning because it may affect the ballistic
feature of the material. Harsh detergents can spoil the material type and hence
it is recommended to use soft detergents and should not be submerged in water
at any cost. After dry washing, The body armour should allowed to get dried in
the proper way but should not allowed to dry in sunlight because it is harmful
to the fabric used the body armour clothing.
